Description
AERO is a modular system designed in line with CTN 178 specifications and is structured around a layer model. Each layer exposes its services and each component is implemented as a separate service in its operation from the other components, thus allowing functional and technological isolation. This is performed with a view to providing the capacities needed by a smart management platform:
- Gather information about the territory, its citizens and companies.
- Provide a cross-cutting approach for existing and future systems.
- Analyse the information gathered.
- Facilitate the decision-making process by public managers.
- Facilitate the creation of an ecosystem of applications on the platform, to create added value for citizens.
To this end, different tools are used that make up its main functions by layers:
- Support layer: Tasked with supporting the other layers of the platform on a transversal basis.
- Acquisition layer: Gathers information from sensors and relevant systems, whose data will be integrated into the platform, to which end it will have various services.
- Knowledge layer: Enables the performance of functions associated with the Knowledge Layer or Tourism Intelligence Layer, making it possible to obtain value from the data stored having processed, managed and exploied the information generated.
- Interoperability layer: Facilitates the exposure and sharing of platform data with different elements of the Smart Services layer.
- Smart Services Layer: Place where the different services provided by the platform to public managers, citizens, tourists and companies are based.
