The Eurecat Foundation offers a Circular Transformation Roadmap service for tourist destinations and/or companies that are looking to improve their competitiveness while becoming more responsible in relation to the environment.

Its team of experts provides assistance in the definition of a circular economy strategy in line with the destination or company’s strategy in the short, medium and long term. As part of this service, customers can identify, prioritise and promote the most appropriate main circular transformation projects depending on their needs, helping them to stand out in the market and position
themselves as tourist destinations committed to sustainability.

The project structure is structured around four work blocks, meaning the results obtained at the end of each phase can be evaluated:

• Diagnostics phase: analysis of the circularity of processes, products or services, as well as potential new business
  models.
• Strategy phase: definition of the circular strategy aligned with the strategy.
• Initiatives phase: identification and definition of circular economy initiatives.
• Transformation plan phase: Selection, prioritisation and scheduling of initiatives over time to define the route forward in the circular transformation.

Once the service comes to an end, a series of initiatives to implement technologies and solutions based on the circular economy is generated to transform the destination or business model and to incorporate new value propositions in the form of products, services or improvements. The conceptualisation is also delivered in the form of a transformation plan and executive summary of the opportunities in the form of circular economy incorporation projects for their implementation to be implemented in the short term.
