Smart parking management system in tourist destinations based on video cameras that incorporate artificial vision algorithms to detect the presence of vehicles, either at the entrance of a car park (entry and exit count), or space by space (free/occupied).

The free space information generated by the smart cameras is sent to a physical control centre, and/ or to mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets, for easier work of municipal managers. The data can also be integrated into city platforms or tourism CRM. The system facilitates realtime response through voice messages, access opening/closing or management of information panels.
