Communication and specifically, the creation of content that provides information in a simple way, is a need that benefits everybody. Not only does it improve accessibility for people with intellectual disabilities, it also improves it for people with comprehension difficulties such as the elderly, people who are learning the language, people who cannot read or write and, by extension, the whole population when faced with specialised texts of technical complexity.

Puntodis is part of the Erraztea task force, a multidisciplinary team of people with and without disabilities responsible for creating or adapting and validating all types of easy-to-read documents. Taking into consideration the document and what surrounds it.

There are many areas in which providing easy-to-read versions is important: tourism campaigns, travel guides, traveller information, procedures in relation to booking services, etc.
