The smart CCTV system performs a series of automatic actions by itself, improving and enhancing security in all environments in which it is implemented. The system also makes it possible to obtain other relevant information for the implementation of security plans through algorithms:

• Profiling of minor criminal actions in CCTV controlled scenarios that make it possible to create an algorithm for understanding the scene at a low level and guides for understanding people’s behaviour.

• Automatic detection of criminal actions making it possible for the observer to create alerts through image processing to generate the visual environment, presence of objects and recognition, monitoring and control of suspicious activities.

• Management of alerts and their communication to security forces, recording of the event and real-time display and map of actions to combat the event detected.

• Crime prevention, as the system has not only been developed to detect suspicious events, but also learns from them to detect patterns that allow the prevention of potential criminal actions in the future.

• Occupancy control and parking surveillance.

• Counting (people, cars, estimated room occupancy).
