The concept of an interactive window display is structured around the use of glass or windows at a tourist office or commercial premises to convert it into an information point. The system allows both tourists and residents to make enquiries 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as these enquiries are made from outside the office. The person can access the information on the street itself, simply by touching the shop window’s glass.

This option offers obvious advantages over traditional information stands:
• There is no need for works on public roads.
• Although the enquiry is made from the street, the system is installed inside the office.
• Potential vandalism is reduced to a minimum.
• The installation uses the office’s electricity supply and Internet connection.

Content software
STRAAT FLOOR features an application called INFOTOURIST OFFICE, which features a design, edition, configuration, production and content management module. The presentation of this content is not in the form of a website, but rather an information point, making it easier for the user to comfortably browse the different menu options.
